It’s that time of year again… Basketball Season. And I love it so much that I made a Facebook status update proclaiming how pumped I was.
Does that make me lame?
Either way, I grew up playing basketball a lot and there is something about the start of the NBA season that reminds me how much I heart hoops. It also reminds me that I like being competitive, because I feel that it pushes me in the direction of growth.
So I just wanted to put that thought down here and get your take on both competition in general and on being competitive. Is it still cool to be competitive? Or have we, as a society, grown weary of competitive people unless we’re watching them play a game against one another on TV?
