Just wanted to give a quick shout out to some cool people I came in contact with yesterday… in no particular order:
Justin Kownacki tweeted about a comment I had left on his blog under this post: The Death of Fun. I really like the idea of giving blog commentators props on Twitter and am throwing it in my bag of tricks. Thanks Justin.
I had lunch with Todd Earwood and I have to admit that I really enjoy conversations with that guy. He was fired up today about some sweet ideas he is working on implementing at Member Minded. Good stuff. Plus I had the Muffelata at Bristol for an extra bonus.
I had a phone conversation with Kevin Palmer, who I met at BlogWorld Expo, about social media of all things. We bounced some ideas back and forth, and I’m going to try to figure out a way to work with the guy in some capacity on some project because he is really funny in a ridiculously sarcastic sort of way. Love it.
And last but not least, I feel compelled to give Rob May a huge shout out for creating Backupify so that I could win an Amazon Gift Card from him for participating in a bloggers challenge a few weeks back. SCORE! Note: I would have given Jason Falls props on this as well, but he wanted to disqualify me from the drawing. WTF? Ha!
