What’s Up With All The Food Pics?

Just curious… I’ve noticed the trend of taking snapshots of cuisine prior to consuming it. I don’t get it so here are some choices:

A. Share with Friends
B. Make Friends Jealous
C. To Blog About
D. To Post Here
E. Other [Fill in your answer in the comments]

Before I jump on the bandwagon, I just need to know why I’m jumping on.
