Is Being Listed the New Being Followed?

I think that it’s a fair question now that Twitter Lists are in public beta.

I can have a lot of followers that turn out to be SPAM bots, but if I get listed a lot, then does that mean that I am adding value to the conversation?

Perhaps…

I wasn’t special enough to get in on Twitter Lists during it’s secret beta, like my friend Chris Bergman, but I’m on it now and am loving it. Everyone talks about the key to social media being in letting people self organize and Twitter Lists does just that, in my opinion.

Twitter Lists & RSS FTW!

One thing that I instantly thought would be very handy for Twitter Lists is an RSS feature. So I Googled “Twitter Lists RSS” and found this great new site that allows you to turn Twitter Lists 2 RSS.

Which is awesome for this idea I have that has seemed rather difficult to implement over the last few months.

So you’re saying there’s a chance!

What Do You Think?

Are Twitter Lists the bacon of the Twitterverse? Can you get enough of them? Or do you think that Twitter Lists are lame and that RSSifying a Twitter List feed is especially lame? Hit up the comments below and let me read about it.
