No more than one day after my riveting post on People Search, and I get the heads up to proceed with work on it PLUS I find out that Dan Zarrella has put together a site called TweetPsych that utilizes both the RID and LIWC to psycho-analyze an individual by the way they tweet.

Nice one.

What I really like about TweetPsych is the fact that it tells you who you may get along with based on similar profiles. Something that I think would be cool to get our heads around, also, would be what complimentary profile types go together, or even accentuate one another. There are a lot of variables to work out, and it’s not necessarily exact, but it excites me nonetheless.

So it will probably be a while before we have anything to show on our end, but I’m really excited about the possibilities. Plus it’s cool to figure out that somebody else has been working along the same lines and doing cool things with it. I’ve reached out to Dan on LinkedIn and am hoping to get in contact with him, because I really think that this type of mash-up has a serious application for myTPSreport.com.

Time will tell.
