No Dumb Questions

When everybody has a voice, as we all do in the world of social media, does the old adage still remain true? The video below is of a second year college student asking President Obama whether legalizing prostitution, gambling, drugs, and non-violent crime could potentially help stimulate the economy:

Politics aside, my take away from the President’s answer is that there is no such thing as a dumb question. Challenging conventional wisdom is something that isn’t popular, but also something that needs to be done on a regular basis. I have personally found that asking seemingly off the wall questions can actually lead to finding a solution that is not so off the wall.

One other take away I gleaned from the video was that you don’t necessarily have to answer a question you may not want to answer or one you may not have an answer for…
