I thought it would be cool to add a policy page because policies are very official. With this being an official site and all, I figured that a policy would be a nice touch.  One of the big purposes of this site is to meet people of like mind, as well as people with differing opinions. I want to meet people, mmm-kay?  Its one of the Pillars of Inner Awesomeness. That being the case, I threw this policy together to let you know where I stand on the big issues:

Your Information

If you provide hallicious.com with any personally identifying information, I promise that I will not sell it to anybody… Even if I get offered an all expense paid two day / one night premium vacation package to Gatlinburg, TN… Your data is safe here, ok?  I can be bought for various things, but I’m serious when I say that this is not one of them.

Comments

I want comments, because comments lead to discussions and discussions lead to understanding and understanding leads to relationships. As a general rule, I will do my best to respond to individual comments, and I encourage you to leave one to see if I’m a man of my word or full of hot air.

Anonymity

I know that its fun to be anonymous sometimes. You know that its fun to be anonymous sometimes. When you’re anonymous, everything is seemingly on the table. No subject is too delicate and no opinion is too brash. You can lay it all out because you’ve got nothing to lose. However, online anonymity makes it really hard to connect. If multiple people remain anonymous with their comments I won’t know who is who, and that goes against a big reason for this blog, meeting people. I only ask that you leave your name and a space online that I can check out when you comment on this site.

Profanity

I’m definitely not offended by profanity. I have been known to be profane from time to time. I just really don’t want to deal with it in this space, as it is intended to be a quasi-representation of my professional development through the journey of life.  If you want to be profane, I ask that you do it somewhere else. I will delete comments that I deem to be inappropriate and/or contain profanity.

That’s it. Easy enough, eh? See you out there.
